Halibut Recipe Ingredients
* 1 tablespoon unsalted margarine
* 1 enormous onion, finely diced
* 2 enormous potatoes, stripped and cubed
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 6 cups chicken stock
* 1 (8 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, diced
* 2 enormous carrots, destroyed
* 1 1/2 cups milk
* 1/2 cup weighty cream
* salt and pepper to taste
* 2 pounds halibut, cut into 1-inch solid shapes
* 1/2 cup destroyed cheddar
* 1 squeeze red pepper drops, or to taste
Halibut Recipe Instructions :
1. Liquefy the spread in a huge pot over medium hotness. Add the onion, and cook until the onion has relaxed and turned clear, around 5 minutes. Add the potatoes and garlic, and keep cooking until the potatoes have mellowed somewhat, around 10 minutes.
2. Pour in the chicken stock, tomatoes, and carrots. Heat to the point of boiling, then, at that point, diminish hotness to medium-low, cover, and stew for 10 minutes. Add the milk and cream, season to taste with salt and pepper, then, at that point, mix in the halibut. Keep stewing uncovered until the halibut is flaky and at this point not clear in the middle, around 10 minutes. Delicately mix in the cheddar and red pepper pieces until the cheddar has softened. Serve right away. Partake in the halibut chowder !
