Halibut Recipe Ingredients

* 2 pounds halibut
* 1 cup mayonnaise
* 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
* 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
* 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
* 1 teaspoon mustard powder

Halibut Recipe Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Place halibut in a baking dish. In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, shredded Cheddar cheese, shredded Jack cheese, dill, and mustard. Spread cheese mixture over halibut. Sprinkle more dill on top if you like.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until halibut fish is done, and cheese is golden brown and bubbly. The halibut recipe is ready...enjoy it !

Ingredients

* 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
* 1 shallots, finely chopped
* 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
* 1 tablespoon black bean sauce
* 1/2 cup mirin (Japanese sweet wine)
* 1 tablespoon soy sauce
* 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
* 6 (4 ounce) fillets halibut, skin removed
* 1 teaspoon sesame oil
* 1/4 teaspoon pepper
* 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Heat oil in non-stick saucepan over medium heat. Cook shallots and garlic gently until fragrant, but not brown. Stir in black bean sauce, rice wine, and soy sauce. Bring to boil and cook until reduced by half. Remove from heat, and stir in vinegar; set aside.
2. Pat halibut fish dry. Rub with sesame oil and sprinkle with pepper. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil grate.
3. Grill halibut fish for about 5 minutes per side, or just until cooked through. Sprinkle with cilantro. The halibut recipe is ready to serve with sauce poured over top...nice ! Enjoy it !

Pan Fried Halibut Steak with Light Green Sauce









Pan Fried Halibut Steak with Light Green Sauce

Ingredients

* 4 (8 ounce) halibut steaks
* salt and pepper to taste
* 1/2 cup all-purpose flour for dusting
* 1/4 cup melted butter
* 1/4 cup dry white wine
* 1 lemon, juiced
* 1/2 cup heavy cream
* 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
* 4 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
* 2 tablespoons drained capers

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Rinse the halibut steaks and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper, then dust with flour.
2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the halibut steaks in the butter for 4 to 5 minutes, until nicely browned. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.
3. Reduce the heat to medium, and stir the wine into the pan, scraping up any browned bits stuck to the bottom. Mix in the lemon juice, then stir in the cream. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes or until it starts to thicken. Season with parsley, basil and capers, and stir for another minute. Serve halibut with sauce spooned over it. Garnish with additional parsley if desired. The Halibut recipe of steak is ready to serve !
